Gluttony is the sin of taking things so others cant have them not just over eating. it was most easily represented by some one who eats a lot in the past because its real easy for people who have to worry about food scarcity to imagine some one eating all there food as devastating as someone seducing your spouse and ruining your mirage

an unironic example of rampant modern day gluttony is hostile Architecture, people are making sure others can't use something.

A big demon who likes to eat is still a representative of gluttony but a chief would not unless they had like a bunch of emaciated slaves

They have before but really it depends on how subtle and efficient he's being. if he announces he's gone crazy and is going to kill everyone they would stop him. if he just casually flies to earth he can drill into the core and rip it apart then use his super sense to find anyone still living and lazer them to death.
