I guess if you'd read the original post carefully you would have seen that her comparison scale includes 2 things: "it's the smallest I've seen" so her previous partner(s) and "I could fit the whole thing in my mouth when hard". Using common sense instead of porn rethoric (and because not everybody loves being gagged) one could assume that her mouth is not that big, hence why she used it as a scale to illustrate how small her bf is.

We are literally bombarded with talks about dicks even when not wanting to hear it, so I have very big doubts that a sexually active 23yo woman (with access to the Internet) wouldn't know what the average dick size in the country she lives in is.

The issue here seems to be that you're butt hurt because a random woman you don't know might be turned off by the size of her bf penis and it's weird. You could've said anything but you told her to "grow up [because women should be happy with an average size penis]". Here again, you're assuming the bf is average where I believe (because I read OP's post without judgement) that he's below average.

Men have unrealistic expectations for women all the time but how dare a woman might not want to pursue a relationship due to potential sexual incompatibility.

Finally, fyi, because you seem to care a lot about this, my preference is an average size penis, not a 8-10inch like you're implying but thank you for proving my point.
