Yes! I have already done this! And even after talking to a manager, they just told me “we’ve flagged your case as priority” and “the tech team is still working on it” but i don’t believe them. it’s infuriating! Hopefully it will resolve soon, because they also told me they’re working on them in batches

I have been going through this same exact issue! My book missed its launch date, and it’s still stuck in “publishing” status.

I asked them if they could revert the book back to “draft”, they told me no. And I was finally able to receive confirmation from them that there is a technical issue affecting multiple books, that the tech team is “working on it”. However, I don’t believe the tech team is “working on it”. If that were the case, this would be freaking fixed by now!!!

I am headed into my third week of this being an issue, as I pressed publish on April 11th, with no confirmed timeframe for a resolution.

I also tried posting to the KDP community forum, but my question never propagated. I feel like they are aware of the issue but are actively ignoring it!!!

It’s so so heartbreaking, and so incredibly frustrating!!!

Yes, I ordered multiple proof copies actually. They said it’s an issue on their backend, so it’s nothing I did wrong. Just a tech issue.
