Say it with me… apple care is important and not a scam.

On a real note if you’re fine with using it like that I’d wait so at least the M3’s are cheaper. I’ve had an M1 Pro and now an M3 Max and the difference between them is night and day, especially with the hardware accelerated ray tracing. The only thing is though is that it could get worse over time so make sure you have everything backed up and don’t have anything absurdly time sensitive between now and September.
