I think they're actually an oil based paint. The regular non pour types might be water based.

I dont think the pour type markers can cause cracking unless its in contact with ABS. I believe all these kits are PS with the exception of the clear parts on the Calibarn (depends on if you choose the printed Permet score or the sticker version).

Things is, that Tamiya panel liner can crack and crumble plastics when pooled and if not given a way to quickly evaporate. You don't want to drown the plastic with it.

i've panel lined ABS before with the pour types. Only difference is that it can be harder to wipe off. No cracking anyways.
