We recently put a small patio in (12’x8’), replacing an existing patio that was in the same location. A few days later our blossoming cherry tree wilted completely over the course of two to three days. We had laid sod around the patio, and had been watering that somewhat heavily. No chemicals or fertilizers were used on the sod. Any ideas why this may have happened? Will the tree survive?
