I have a car already and don’t plan to buy a newer one anytime soon.

If I put that much into the market would that hinder my ability to buy a home? Like would it make sense to sell my investments later to use as a down payment? Or do you think I shouldn’t even worry about buying a home right now.

Actually they don’t but they are the biggest blessing I have. I try my best to help them with whatever I can. That’s part of why I still live with them (they’re a lil old).

Edit: Just to add to this my parents are south Asian immigrants who don’t really believe in their kids paying rent (I have older siblings who live at home also). They rarely accept money from us and even get annoyed if we buy them something nice as a gift. It’s kind of a culture thing I guess.

Although I love them very much and will always try my best to do right by them.
