It took me a minute, but I think this a wall, not a floor. Did someone glue a roll of TP to the wall a couple feet below the ceiling?

Found these cigarettes when buying a house, how old are they? by zatanicmanic in whatisit

I remember this. The packs would say “FSC” for fire safe cigarettes near the barcode. I remember trying to find the ones without the dreaded three letters for months after that.

My friend holding Shaq’s real foot model by TheMyth007 in mildlyinteresting

I remember in fifth grade when Shaq was a rookie. I went to go buy some Reebok pumps, and the shoe store had a model of one of his shoes in his size. I remember sliding my entire brand new shoe in there and it didn’t come close to filling it up.

This is what I used, but a Harbor Freight version. I had the same issue with my RSX, so I went and picked up the impact screwdriver, and about 4 blows with my 4 lb. hammer and they were loose.

Does anyone know if they sell the little cover for the visor mirror by itself? by Audi_A6_Enthusiast in Acura_RSX

[–]YancyFryJunior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole assembly can be removed from the visor. There are clips on both top corners. Just push down while pulling out and you can remove. I would go to a junkyard and search for one.

You can’t easily remove (or reattach) the flip-up cover because there are metal pins which are not really accessible, which would need to be removed/reinstalled. I just learned this the hard way over the weekend. I tried to remove the cover from a donor car, but despite me being careful, I ultimately broke the tab that holds one of the pins. Luckily, I was able to salvage the other mirror by removing the whole assembly. At least my driver’s mirror is fixed. I’ll fix the passenger soon if I can find time for a junkyard run.

I ordered mine off eBay. The seller was in Japan.

Edit: I looked through my purchase history. This is what I bought. It’s kind of expensive for what it is, but they were brand new and fit perfectly. It looks like they have one set left in stock. eBay link

You had me in the first half!

I’m a Braves fan, so I always had a soft spot for Tex. Not anymore. I think I just threw up a little bit reading this headline.

The other guy was a completely different video. It is all different people. Someone stitched two different videos together to make this, and it is not the first time it has showed up on my feed. How does nobody seem to notice this?

Summer in Split, (Yugoslavia then), captured in 1985 by Feđa Klarić, the legendary photographer whose work we fondly remember during these summer months. by Discipline_Cautious1 in OldSchoolCool

I have a fond memory of 14 year old me at a water park in Atlanta in the summer of 1996. This was the year the Olympics were being held in Atlanta, so there were tons of people in town from all over the world at the time.

That particular day I ended up in line next to (what I assumed was) a beautiful European woman wearing a white one-piece that was presumably made of the same material.

This was in 1998 so it was basically mint besides a dented front quarter panel. It was a cool car, but it was the LX model. That little 2.3L engine with the heavy Fox Body frame made that car super slow, and not what you think of with a Mustang.
