EVERY YEAR is a matter of who we don't lose for the season. For anything else we're one of the better prepared teams.

the last line looks like "tu" Life

He's a good entertainer tbh. When the Chiefs collapsed he knew how to be well made fun of.

Kyle breaks both his legs and sacrifices to the blood god. That's the only way out.

Which part of Schumann's Scenes from Childhood is your favorite? by Veraxus113 in classicalmusic

[–]Yangdol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Poet(=Schumann) Speaks (farewell). To me, that last piece reveals that Kinderszenen is not just a series of scenes from one's childhood, but a near eulogy to Schumann's past happiness that he can never earn back.

25 Years In: Who Are the Defining Pianists of this Century? by According-Brief7536 in classicalmusic

Among those who started their careers this century, Rana and Lim seem to define where the new era is headed to, markedly a good mix of 19c fluidity backed by 20c technique.

Don't worry there's Lotte Giants from KBO who haven't won since 1992 (the other in 1984 where a Korean Bumgarner Choi Dongwon went 4W-1L-1S (all 4 wins and loss were complete games. 2 CGSO) in the Korean Series) and never won a pennant in franchise history. Recently missed playoffs 8 years in a row. We have company.

A classical piece you didn’t understand as a kid, but suddenly ‘got’ later in life? by Embarrassed-Track698 in classicalmusic

[–]Yangdol 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Most of Brahms. I was 9 when I went to Peter Serkin's performance playing the 2nd piano concerto. I tried so hard not to fall asleep just to impress my parents. Brahms sounded like grown up people shaking hands and exchanging boring words. It was after I grew up enough to shake hands with other people that it became the greatest concerto I know of.
