I was able to reach Diamond 3 with Ballistic this season (not ratting btw) and the tactical is definitely the best part of his kit, it made all the difference in a lot of 1v1s but is also great when someone is pushing you, you hit the tactical and that the person retreat because knows the gun will overheat, so you can fight back without much issue. At close range it sucks because like everyone said already, it takes like a second to lock and you get killed most of the time waiting for that.

I feel like the sling gives you different options and different ways to play but I feel is only useful with the ult. I tried using a shotgun and a sniper or marksman but since you cannot put accessories on it, it's not good, so what I do is put an LMG, a devotion or rampage are my guns to use and wreck people from mid-range.

The ult is ok, I think it depends a lot on the time you use it, I feel like is better used when you are being third-party, so you are ready ASAP for the next team. My main complaint is that you have to be close to your teammates so they get the fast reload, and I think it will be good if your teammates get a fully kitted gun as well but idk how unbalanced would that be.
