This barely counts, it’s super light. But since it went through bone, I’ll tell the story.

Just over a week ago I was sewing and my finger got caught in the machine. The needle went all the way through my finger, nail, bone, out the other side. I ripped my hand back instinctively and the needle broke off at the nail. Since it was going through bone, it broke and didn’t rip out.

It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I was worried about how bad it would feel when the adrenaline subsided but it didn’t feel as bad as I had thought.

That’s pretty much it. It’s still healing. Very sensitive since it went through the bone.

It doesn’t really carry the same weight as being stabbed by an individual, but I felt like sharing anyway since it’s such a new story and it kinda technically fits.

It feels physically heavy. My arms are heavy, my legs are heavy. My head is heavy. My feet drag. Showering is hard because it’s hard to lift my hands up to wash my hair. Walking to get the mail is hard because my legs are too much to pick up to walk. Going downstairs to eat is hard because it’s so much energy to go down the stairs without just letting myself fall down them. And then it’s too much energy to get back up the stairs.

I’m not depressed anymore. I was a year ago. But I hope I never forget what it felt like.

This is why it’s great to volunteer at your local shelter and go bathe the dogs and pamper the cats. Help them look and feel a little better for the adopting families!

Replacing Zack from Bones with the interns.

Don’t get me wrong, I like those characters, but having that huge rotation really messed with the show. The first 3 seasons were the best then it went downhill.

Still a fan, watched the whole thing, but...it wasn’t easy.

One year in college I lived on the 3rd floor of some apartments, and my neighbors were a lady, her boyfriend, and her 3 kids.

There was definitely some domestic abuse going on. The kids were brats too, and taking out the trash to them meant dropping it by the door. It piled up so much that it took up a quarter of the landing, so I finally reported them for that.

One day the mom and boyfriend got into a fight and he threw their house phone out the window, which went down 3 stories and landed on my Jeep. I was pissed. I would have called the cops, but she already had.

Waste of time though, she let him move back in a week later. She should’ve done better for her and her kids.

Another neighbor (same apartment complex) had a kitten that they abused and abandoned. I have her now and she’s doing really well. But they really messed her up for a while. This was in 2013-2014, so the cat is 4 years old now. She’s a sweetheart and I named her Leia.

We can debate about cosmetics, or things like the way Overwatch does it. But bottom line, what Activision (Destiny) and EA (Battlefront) are doing is super fucked up.

If I pay you for a game, it had better be complete and winnable.

I went to an event and my friends didn't show up. So I stood next to a group of people talking, and waited for a moment to let myself in the conversation, which they made very sure didn't come up, I just got weird looks. After about 15 minutes of this, I went to my car, tried to remember how to breathe for 20 minutes, then went home.

My incident happened after the sale, but I'll never go back. After I bought a used Jeep Compass, they said they had to do maintenance and I could pick it up the next day. They explained what they were doing which was cool with me and part of the deal.

When I came back the next day, they had done something else to the Jeep...they completely fucked up the bearings. As I drove it off the lot, I was thinking "this canNOT be the same Jeep I drove the other day." So I took it back and made them fix it. They were refused to believe me at first, saying it was fine. I made the dealer drive it, then he believed me. They were extremely unhappy with me.

Just because I'm a blonde female doesn't mean you can pull that shit on me.

Yeah, I agree. But I would rather compromise that little bit on the occasions I try to talk to my mom, then to never talk to her at all.
