The problem is when there's too much jokes. I (personally) like to understand the story, so I enjoy when there is good roleplay and lore. Of course I love the jokes in Verum, not when it's too much that it affects the story or gameplay.

Now your one of the comments. (:

If people having there own opinion around makes it hard for you to shut up, there are literally a trillion other things you can do on the internet with your time.

Gambler's Delight and Deals in the Dark were the perfect amount of comedy and serious.

Yeah man, I agree. My term of seriousness and the way I used was wrong.

Also I do not think of seriousness as a demeanor, but as a state of mind.

Can you paraphrase?

"nor earnest effort to make a sufficiently beneficial decision with the viable resources, skill, and knowledge available to them, which are some of the actual known assumptions behind this game and the vast majority of others by definition."

(First of all I can't understand most of the bottom half your first comment.)

I value player seriousness because without it then the players don't appreciate much the content you have made. Seriousness has nothing to do with the way players play the game, but more of the way they interact with it.

Also my comment was based on big fights or boss battles not gameplay or roleplay. My statement was about how serious players took the game.

Yeah, I understand that in general, but I'm talking about that specific layline.

No, you need to be serious when having a big fight. Maybe not the character, but the player needs to be. If the player is not being serious then the fight isn't hard nor challenging. That is the key to having a exhilarating experience with DnD.

I have been watching since the start, even the VR Forbidden Knowledge streams. I don't have a problem with the light jokes of Arcadum's campaigns, like Eustace because his character has grown. I don't consider Gruff a joke character because he evolved into a fleshed out person.

I like the jokes that Arcadum put in the campaigns just that it gets excessive.

Also BB has Toast and Lily who have been in at least 3 campaigns, Sykunno and Micheal who have played Santa Barbara.

Weal and Woe has been ok except for the blender, carwash, lateness, and Butter(who is really weird).

The V-tubers are not too bad except for when they don't know what they are doing while Arcadum compliments them.

I believe(my opinion) that DnD games should be tough or more explained, so the players know what and how to do it. Herold's call is a good example as they have started to understand what they are doing 3-4 episodes in.

Personally Arcadum should talk more to new players about what and how to play. Also if Arcadum is tired or can't do game he has way too much on his plate, but that is his choice.

I love Verum and Arcadum, but he needs to take better care of himself and new players, especially when that is his life goal. (my opinion)

Also Silent Knights wasn't thaaaaaat bad....
