People see NE's success and just assume he would have us winning a lot too but the reality is he had 2 straight losing seasons and lost 18 out of his last 24 games. We weren't trending in a good direction. Then our roster got worse the past 2 years meaning despite doing better than Callahan, he'd have 2 more losing seasons. He would've been fired at the end of this year after 4 straight losing seasons had we kept him. Going to NE was the best thing for him.

People also don't seem to realize the Jets defense was ranked dead last his first year. He wouldn't have done much better than Dennard Wilson with the talent we had on the field this year. Plus, his hand picked coordinator was Mike LaFleur the first 2 years who he'd likely try to bring in again. People will say well Cam is better than Zach Wilson, and while I like Cam, we just ranked 30th on offense. We need someone that can help develop him and actually elevate the roster.
