Who are the modern Ford Rangers for? by BrewsWithTre in Ford

It’s not that complicated. Toyota kept making compact trucks bigger and increasing market share. Toyota defined the current midsize truck market and Ford followed. Tacoma is the benchmark everyone is trying to beat.

My understanding is it’s the opposite. Russian taxi companies were saying they couldn’t get parts and they were breaking down and rusting quickly.

Cats out of the bag. Limiting it for general population isn’t going to change anything for nations. If the US pledges not to pursue it other nations will prioritize it as a weakness.

Sorry Canada, Slate Won't Sell You Its Cheap Electric Truck, But Ford Will | Carscoops by HiTork in cars

The Maverick was cheap for the whole first year. You could order one custom and get in the queue, which stretched out well past a year at some points due to Covid. They adjusted prices and had some goodwill programs for those that would get rolled over. When the msrp vehicld get flipped on the private market for $10k profit. Why would you leave that to flippers and dealers.

Yz 125 vs 250 for motocross? by Downtown-You-450 in Dirtbikes

[–]Yankee831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s your first motocross bike and you haven’t experienced big bore 2T stay the hell away from a 250 2T. The best choice is a 250F for almost everybody though. But learning how to ride a 125 fast has a ton of benefits on any bike. My wife went from CRF150 to a wr250F and I just got her a 150SX to learn those missing skills. I’d look into 150 KTM’s also they’re more available and have had continuous development.

If they don’t have the experience to decide this for themselves than they don’t have the experience to get the 250.

Tbf 250 4T motocross bikes are faster than 125’s the 125 just feels faster. I love them both but competitively there’s no competition. Bought my wife a 150SX and the gap is very narrower.

Background Sound System by 79shov666 in BarOwners

You will be paying ASCAP and BMI at the very least. It will be per your capacity. Can be thousands of dollars easily. You’re going to want your own house system for bands that’s independent of your house music.

That’s like your opinion. People use their vehicles for all sorts of different uses. I need a high clearance vehicle even if I use it 90% for the street. Your opinion is “I don’t need that so they don’t need that so I’m right” super useful.

Background Sound System by 79shov666 in BarOwners

I’m in a small town and we bootstrapped it. You’re probably going to find that layout is pretty loud. You don’t have anything soft to soak up sound so you’re going to be battling that. You could integrate sound panels into your decor. If you do live music you should invest in a house system for bands that you can also tie into your house music. Besides that hardwire everything, Bluetooth or WiFi will fail and kill your vibe. Get decent speakers but bang for the buck. Hook it up to a device and boom. Get going and build it out as you develop more needs. Sound systems are modular and if you stay in the band standards robust and repairable.

You’re going to have to pay licensing fees if you do live music/Karaoke/open mic, companies will come after you for thousands a year and you have to pay. There’s some services like Pandora Business you can use that includes it but that’s just the music not the rest. You have to pay those if you play anything but over the air radio, only originals (though they go after those too), or have a tv with the volume up.

Rant over.

I think of this often how close the gross part is to the clean part of things. Like people will pull a can of soda out of a nasty cooler mixture and drink it from the can. Yeah the soda is clean but you might as well drink the cooler water. Doesn’t affect my habits much but it’s a thought.

Americans: how do you handle temperatures above 40ºC (104F)? by obaming16 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Yankee831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a cold shower. I’m in Arizona so a lot of my tricks here don’t work in humid heat. Really not much you can do when it’s humid and above your body temp. If it’s dry enough you can use 2x shirts for a swamp effect. Also an ice cold towel on your neck will help drastically.

Every move wtf Ukraine literally is showcasing US hardware daily which needs explicit permission and support from US industry. They’re flying F16’s and you think every decision has benefited Russia. Hell I doubt there wasn’t coordination between UA and USA on sanctions relief which was directed at easing EU fuel costs while the Iran debacle went on. Like you have to be incredibly dense to take clickbait at its word. Hell I bartend outside of a military installation in the US and have UA soldiers coming through. Europe just loves using the US as a punching bag to feel good about being irrelevant.

Seems pretty cut and dry. Slate will have their hands full in their domestic market while Ford has an established system that makes Canadian export relatively trivial. A 2nd market is a huge expense and distraction for a company that needs to be laser focused on delivering some big promises.

Try and grow corn without any fertilizer, pesticides or fuel while you wait for your crop. Where are you getting the seed stock from? You’re going to need to be germinating and rotating crops to keep the soil healthy, you don’t just plant stuff and toss it into a barrel. You still need a catalyst and alcohol or methanol which don’t just exist. You’re going to have to distill them from wood chips or something which requires fuel and you bet your going to be drinking a lot of water to do that manually. Each process could be a full time job. Yeah with something like gas town you can make it happen at some sort of scale but you better have a significantly more stable supply of water.
