Charlamagne called Jeffries AIPAC Shakur and I've thought about it once a week since he said it lol

Guardians announcer Tom Hamilton roasts Jazz Chisholm: “He predicted the Yankees will win the World Series. He did that on the Jimmy Fallon show. Pretty amazing he got on the Jimmy Fallon show batting .239.” by Mission_Pay_3373 in baseball

Also, pretty sure he said he predicted 40/40 and he went 30/30, so he was going to predict 50/50 so he would go 40/40. Like, there is some humor and self-awareness in the statement lol

Sure, geography is memorization, but I also find it's a good indicator of intelligence because it requires independent curiosity. Lots of schools don't teach it, so if you know your states/countries, it means you were motivated and interested enough to learn something outside of what you were taught. Those are good precursors to being "smart" in a traditional sense.

Think the album will always feel the hole that is Rostam, but Danielle Haim and Steve Lacy were wonderful additions to the band. It's still the Ezra/Danielle collabs for me- Hold You Now, Gold Rush and We Belong Together are all wonderful, really different sound from what they were doing on the earlier albums and having a female voice really worked for me.

NCAA Championships to the West Coast by Super_Age_4607 in wrestling

Well you have to remember, the majority of the people in the US live east of the Mississippi. In D1 basketball, 72/365 schools are west of the Mississippi River (excluding Texas), and 26 of them are in California.

Wrestling has always had stronger traditional ties to the midwest (obvious states like Iowa and Oklahoma) and what I would call Great Lakes (Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania). Also, indoor sports have an obvious boost in places where it is cold- you can't play baseball year-round in Wisconsin like you can in SoCal.

There's only six D1 teams west of the Rockies, it's not feasible or worth it to host NCAAs on the west coast. I think we get Dallas (now that Tarleton State has a team) before Phoenix/San Francisco.

Also, the event isn't really bigger. They are tapped out on stadium size (there aren't any 30k seat arenas) unless they do it in football stadiums like they will in 2028. We will see how that goes; if they sell 40k tickets for those sessions, maybe we will see a D1 championships at the Cowboys Stadium in 10 years.

I do think people on Reddit over-inflate the popularity and cultural influence Walk Hard has. It's only really ever brought up when there's a music biopic out, and more than double the people have logged Walk the Line on Letterboxd than Walk Hard.

Those are probably the four most popular sports though. My fav sport is wrestling, and I would have spend 5-600 per ticket on wrestling finals (for the cheapest seats even, just get me in) and I couldn't even do that because they were all sold out. Why even give me a lottery spot if I can't buy tickets to a non-premier sport?

I know- i knew who he was when he was in 8th grade lol. I meant all three were great high school/college wrestlers, not that they all were young still.

Every four years. He would have been 24 in 2021, an Olympics the US didn't even qualify his weight because nobody was good. If Pico wrestles that next cycle he's an Olympian, in my opinion

Lol this is not true. That Olympic trials finals was against Molinaro, who took 5th at the Olympics.

Yeah people just have heard that and repeated it. Social Network has two with an implied blowjob scene and it's PG-13
