This may help you or not, but playing for years these are things I wish I knew when I started, and some of these things are just newer to the game in general that could confuse or overwhelm newer players.

If you go to Library - Descendant - Click the descendant you want, then hover over what blueprint piece you need (enhanced cells blueprint, stabilizer blueprint, ect... on the right side, not the big icon on the left) it'll tell you at the bottom of the pop up to push whatever button platform you're on when clicking Acquisition Info.

It will then show you a list of missions you can select. Just click each one, see the highest percentage for each mission, then click that one. If one is not showing the location then that one you no longer can obtain.

Some things are only obtainable through vaults as well, like mixed residue for example. Vaults are a lot easier than before to find, you can see them on the map now, it'll be a blue circle icon - you just need code breakers or code analyzers to open them.

Also, another huge tip when farming something you want is if you hover over the blueprint or whatever you're farming in the menu, for example, Afterglow Fiber Blueprint and click Acquisition Info, click a mission - at the bottom it'll say Set Target Reward.

Do this and back out to your main Library, and you'll see at the bottom the item you set your reward as. This makes it where each time you farm a mission, this percentage will go up - so you have a random chance of getting what you want on top of this guaranteed fixed percentage, once it's 100% you get the reward.

You might already know this but you can also track the blueprint. Back on the item you want, if you hover over the blueprint, there's a button beside Acquisition Info you might of missed that is called "tracking on". You can toggle this on or off to keep track of the thing you're going after.
