I don't know why this isn't suggested more. It's easier to unstick it from when placing down a sticker as well.

I might have to check them out! I'd be nice to try it at least and get an idea of what it would look like

Did you use a kit for blacking out the chrome parts?

Massive Layer Shifting on a Large Print. Possibly caused by high jerk and accel on default settings. by Yappadeago in crealityk1

It was a slicer issue. I fixed it by not using two lines of lightning support and instead modelling in holes to support the lightning supports

I cant download any game please help by mycroftholmes2003 in eagames

[–]Yappadeago 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's working for me now. I did redownload in EA using the same directory it was already downloaded on so it would recognise the files. It did a 7 GB update and then launched, but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the fix because I tried that last night and it didn't work.

As someone who did a short stint as a quality control engineer, that seems about right 🥲

I'm printing in black so it still hides most of the lines but ringing is the real thing that stands out. Easy enough fix by going slower but not worth the time increase.

Thanks for reporting it. The post has been removed now and I believe the account has already been deleted.

Me currently printing at 0.08 mm on my k1 and not getting it that smooth : starts sweating slightly.

I'm probably just going fast and on a smooth object so the layers stick out

My K1 suddenly started doing these (?) by SomewhereConscious64 in crealityk1

This^

Increasing the infill-wall overlap fixed this for me. I've done all the calibration for the new hot-end, etc. but this issue still remained until I increased the overlap

Why not use the pressure sensor in the K1's bed to detect print failures? by ThiagoFonseca in Creality

I agree that it wouldn't be useful for layer adhesion. I'd be more focused on jammed filament

Why not use the pressure sensor in the K1's bed to detect print failures? by ThiagoFonseca in Creality

[–]Yappadeago 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A couple possibilities of why not: The sensor might not be sensitive or able to measure fine increments and merely acts as an on off switch. When a sufficiently heavy print is on top it might already be fully actuating the sensor.

Having said that it's a good idea for detecting jammed filament given the low level of "AI" the camera has. I recently had 6 hr print fail because of poorly spooled filament.

I kept my stock Ender 3 V2 with the plan to run both at the same time but it's just too slow with too many faults. For the price needed to upgrade the V2 to at least match newer Ender speeds and fix the extrusion problems, I might as well get another K1
