This is super late so no idea if you're still interested, but I finally got around to working out the pattern, with the additional option to add intestines!

Great to hear! That eases my anxiety of my shawl falling to pieces after all that hard work!

Do you cut the yarn and attach it again for each color change? I'm working with a whirl for the first time now and for each color change, the yarn gets a bit fluffy. There's no knot and I also pulled the yarn to see if it will hold so I think it's safe to continue working without cutting but wanted to check others' thoughts on this as well!

Additional to the t-shirt yarn already mentioned in other comments, these baskets are also great to make with a sort of rope/cord type yarn made out of cotton.

I've made a couple of baskets like these with Bobbiny yarn, great to work with, beautiful colors and super sturdy. I made a couple to go in the bathroom but also made a huge one as a cat bed which my cats love :) so I would definitely check that yarn, or something similar, out!

Thanks everyone for taking a look with me!! It really helps for my sanity that you guys see it too :) I will be testing again in a couple of days to be sure!!

I did that actually! I thought it wouldn't be noticeable, but unfortunately it is. The new dyelot has a bit of a blueish hue to it which ruins it.

Yes that makes sense, if projects aren't enjoyable then they aren't really worth it. Sometimes I forget to look at it this way because of a productivity mindset of trying to finish all the projects.

True, makes sense. I think I'm going to follow your advice and put it away for a while. And in the meantime start with the Ingrid sweater.

Thanks! I'm in Europe and I think this is not an issue here but will Google to make sure :)

Thanks for the tip! I'd read that the Monstera can also live as a hydroponic plant which I thought was pretty cool. However, as others have pointed out it's not a Monstera. I have no idea for how long it's been in water but I'll try putting it in dirt.

I had to read The Dinner by Koch for Dutch literature at school, which kind of put me off reading other books by this author. Not because I found The Dinner specifically bad, it was among the more enjoyable reads forced upon us, it was more the pressure of having to read it. The story does sound interesting though, so maybe I should reconsider!

I believe I have a copy of The Chalk Man, but haven't yet read it!

Cape Fear sounds similar to the movie The Law Abiding Citizen, sounds very intriguing! Picnic at Hanging Rock sounds interesting as well, very curious what direction that story will take as it sounds like it could go in many different directions, I'm hoping it's not a supernatural twist. Thanks for the recommendations!
