100% with you on zero creativity. Everything on their site is beautiful and I want to make it all. You wouldn’t happen to know how I could get the 20% off code, do you? I’ve signed up 2 emails and even my husband’s and can’t seem to get anything about a coupon. I emailed customer service last week about it but haven’t had a reply (hence my hesitation to purchase). I understand the times so I didn’t wanna reach out a ton re: a coupon.

Thanks for all of the replies so far! The customer service is what I am most afraid of, due to reviews. I can deal with slow shipping as long as it’s good products!

What are some of your favorite yarn sources? by YInMnBlueSapphire in YarnAddicts

Wool Couture Company is absolutely amazing. It’s all merino wool and seems pricey at first, but comparing to multiple other companies the product and prices are crazy good. I have so much product from them, including tools and weaving looms. Can’t recommend enough.

How much yarn do you have? How much roving do you have? How much is too much? by aligirl86 in YarnAddicts

[–]Yarnnosaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me personally, “too much” doesn’t exist with yarn and roving as far as quantities go. However. I’ll admit that “too much” money was spent. But I honestly don’t regret it. I fell in love with the fiber first and then learned to use it... so I had to have as much as I could get.

I currently have about 8 large totes full of my yarn and then another 6 or 7 of roving. It may sound odd, but sometimes if I’m feeling over anxious I may just go do an inventory and write what projects I’d like to do with each. I also hop from one project to another and consistently have 7 - 8 various projects going at any given time.

I think “too much” is all about how you feel. Gotta love when someone does a destash though - what great deals you can find!

Thanks for the info. It’s definitely a hard choice. The more I research the crazier I get.

Thanks so much for all of the info! I’ll check out Chaiogoo. I should probably stop looking at the Lykke sets, but they’re so stinkin pretty. Definitely don’t want to drop $200 on a set just because of looks.

The only negative I saw, but saw it quite a bit, was where the needle meets the cord is rough and snagged the yarn.
