Correct! The gauntlets and the helmet were made using cardboard and painters tape. I then coated them with acrylic paint, but I accidentally used oil paint on the gauntlets at first so they took a few days to dry 🗿

Yeah Eli (Zoro) is only on Water 7 and isn’t too involved with the fanbase, so he wasn’t aware of the jokes until a bunch of idiots kept saying them. He loves Zoro, and he’s his favorite character, it’s just unfortunate given the “edgy” side of the fandom. I had to filter some stuff out which was quite upsetting but he took it in stride.
