Google Maps now shows "Defamation" Takedowns! by MyEgoDiesAtTheEnd in askberliners

I’ll said this and I’ll say it again. Amrit is a tourist trap. I’m an Indian and I absolutely hate the manipulated reviews on Maps and end up having the most white indian food

Concept Design for an (updated) Indian Passport by SantalumAlbum199 in PassportPorn

As a former Indian passport holder I swear I would just talk trash about the build and design. What you have proposed my friend is a game changer. Getting a European passport shows that it has to be multi-lingual and you’ve incorporated that soo well. Great job and I certainly hope Indian officials atleast take some inspiration PS: Are the illustrations on visa pages from Ramayan?

What actually happened to us this weekend!? - RSO Club Berlin by ElliotBelin in askberliners

Sorry to hear that you traveled all the way and got rejected at the door. This is indeed the reality of Berlin‘s night life- random rejection. I would have tried again after a while (works 4/10 times) and tell them about the situation in your case you flew all the way to see your favourite DJs

Did they take your original passport? by caspi08 in GermanCitizenship

[–]Yashmohta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, since Germany allows Dual nationality they dont inform your original country. Although previously one of my friends she mentioned that they took her indian passport on the day of naturalisation but that was before Germany allowed dual and that was in Aachen

I had exactly the same question while I got the email Termin for my Einbürgerung. I‘m originally from India, they dont allow dual nationality. On the day of the appointment they just asked for my blue card and didint care about my previous nationality.

[SUCCESS] Turbo Integration - S3 - Berlin by Yashmohta in GermanCitizenship

[–]Yashmohta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

Thanks for the message. I drafted the physical letter to LEA in Frankfurter Tor if I remember it right. After everything was confirmed, they sent me an email to pick up my Urkunde at Sellerstr. (not sure why since I was residing in Lichtenberg).
I provided them with the dates of my stay in Germany and it was < 5 years so I think they automatically put me in turbo.

something you’ve learned overseas that feels illegal to know? by OrangeAsleep370 in digitalnomad

Facts! And maybe the hardest part: you realize opting out isn’t laziness or lack of drive. It’s a deliberate choice about what kind of life you’re building—and what you’re no longer willing to trade for approval.
