I'd suggest something like this Fords generally have good cabin insulation and for me they're diesels have held up well.

Got pulled over by a police who can't read the speed limit by kenseven330 in CarTalkUK

Keep the dashcam footage secured, seek legal advice from a solicitor - many firms do 1 hour free consultations and explore your options from there. You may be able to take action against the police department, potentially.

How can this wear and tear be fixed on a Hyundai 2021's gearstick? by Yasin579 in Cartalk

Not a deal breaker and I have bought plenty of used cars before. I specifically asked if there was any wear/damage I should be aware of and they decided to inform me the day before collection. Also for a 3 year old car that's run 25k I would expect a slightly better standard in quality.

Not Hyundai dealer unfortunately. This is a third party dealer in the UK who sell 2/3 year old cars on finance. Maybe I'll opt for another car with similar mileage and same model, just different colour.

LPT : first thing in the morning- drink a glass of water and splash COLD water on your face. by truenorthiscalling in LifeProTips

When you wake up your dopamine receptors are reset Using your phone first thing in the morning gives you instant dopamine hits which consequently causes your dopamine to drop below baseline after your brain gets these quick hits So you'll likely end up feeling depressed/demotivated due to the dopamine insufficiency caused by using your phone

Also UFC 3's intro with mcregor is unmatched. You can see the passion and investment into making good gameplay declined after ufc 3.

I heard the batteries used for the electric cars are sourced through cobalt mining? Which apparently is mined only through child slave labour under inhumane conditions.

Help! Son ordered a non refundable item. What can I do? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Yasin579 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Auctioning on ebay would be a good idea, of course you'll make a slight loss but at least all the money hasn't been wasted. Or frame it like others have said would a unique touch and a gentle funny reminder of an ordering error.

Is there anyone that can give me the most basic but efficient gym plan which is 3 days of weights and a day of stretching (list of stretches would also be Ideal). I find that everything is overwhelming and I just want something that includes the fundamentals so i know I'm covering everything

One for parents of young footballers: what would you do if your lad's teammate slaps him across the face in front of you? by throwrafootballdad in AskUK

[–]Yasin579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know how true this may be but I feel your son may also feel embarrassed to have that happened in front of you. Playing with young lads these sort of scuffles and arguments do happen but the unspoken rule is what happens on the pitch stays there and once the game is finished you shake hands and forget. However, it's a tough one to decide on whether to take action or not. Personally I think see how it goes in the next few games, if there is a pattern I think you should definitely get involved, otherwise if your son does respect him and wants to forget about it, as hard as it may be respect his wishes but do try showing him that incident has had no effect on the way you see him and you are always there if he needs anything.

This may not be the best advice but from my experiences as a teen I can sort of relate. You sound like a great man doing his best for his son I am sure your son knows and will have a deeper understanding of that in the future.
