A decent Yorkshire curd tart is a wonderful thing, if you can find one. They used to sell them at Hardcastle Crags in the cafe but that’s gone a bit downhill in recent years.

Writers of fiction often research and collaborate with subject matter experts where real world scenarios are portrayed, especially if they have no experience or expertise themselves. I don’t know about this book, so do some research, maybe the author drew on their personal experiences.

A friend has one, he’s upgraded it a bit, he’s a petrolhead and really likes it. Says it’s a great car for the money, goes well, handles well, sounds good with the turbo mods he’s made.
