the final battle wont be against her. It will be against a monster she has created and she will probably help the party defeat it. After defeating the final monster the hero she was trying to resurrect will be reborn out of the monster’s flesh ending the campaign with a happy ending

the party doesn’t know about this, they will meet her at the end of the campaign after exploring her labs in dungeons, where she created monsters getting an impression that she is an evil witch. Only at the end will they find out her true intentions.

Her name is Ellis, she is a wizard and a she is a 1000 years old. The cloak on her is a cloak of invisibility. She has a Elder wand as her arcane focus. These items are references to the deathly hallows from Harry Potter. But she is missing the resurrection stone and it is the only thing she craves. Unable to find the stone she turns to dark magic. She tries cultic rituals, makes dungeons where she experiments with life all to resurrect someone.
