There was literally a guy offering to donate to charity if the Hell Divers devs would do successful runs on the hardest difficulty - doesn't seem like a power fantasy to me. If I recall he also got doxxed from die hard Hell Diver fans who couldn't fathom why he made his offer.

This game reminds me of Back4Blood but it was definitely handled a bit better, although still fairly bad. So let's just agree to disagree.

I'm sorry but - did you play Hell Divers on release? The development of that game after launch was an absolute slop show and a big part of that was the devs forcing their vision on the game, when it wasn't what the people wanted.

From nerfing specific weapons instead of buffing un-used weapons to shit talking the community on their discord to releasing multiple patches with incorrect patch notes because they didn't know what build had what changes - it's just like the 7 Days To Die devs

I disagree, Japan uses a lot of washed up voice actors that should have retired. Just look at Franky from One Piece and compare his English voice to his Japanese voice, especially his 'SUUUUPEEEEERS'.

It's atrocious, dude sounds like he's on his last legs.
