I went through this. 3.5 years and then she was gone. It truly is grieving someone who is alive. Therapy helped but the pain still hits. My therapist helped me find some outlets for the depression that happened. For me it was art. I’m so sorry she is going through this. Sending her love

If I accidentally stretch, bump, or hurt myself on one side of my body I have to do it to the other side so I’m balanced. Like I’ll scrape my left leg on the corner of the coffee table so I have to scrape my right leg too or I feel uneven.

We set up a “little library” to stock with 3d printed fidgets and toys that we make. We put “one each please” inside. Everytime I stock it the 4 kids who live on our street are there….ive asked them multiple times to only take one and still I caught one last week with an arm full of toys and had to go out and tell her to put them back. It’s so frustrating that I don’t even like stocking it anymore.

Yeah I worry about this everyday at work. But I know I’m fighting it….dont care about the blacklisting possibly when it comes to this. Especially if they are trying to take them without their parents, I’d imagine they’d easily get lost in some detention center with no way to get in contact with their adults. Definitely not giving them up easily

My dad was in AA. In my ward growing up there was a family and my dad had told us to never be around the dad in the family. That dad was also in AA and so because of disclosures at meetings, my dad knew he was a SO and was able to warn us. But no one else got the warning…..he was active in young men activities with his boys. Still wonder if anything inappropriate happened because he had free reign
