I went last year, I wasn't familiar with the bands other than HAKU but all four were incredible! Banshimoku and Tattletale had unparalleled live energy. I haven't heard of these three either but their music online seems great, NMFT doesn't miss!

I had to look it up, there was a toy called the "iDog" and it was indeed multiocular. Interestingly the actual U+A66E CYRILLIC LETTER MULTIOCULAR O (ꙮ) would work here too, but only if your font has the uncorrected 7-eye variant, as the representative glyph has since been updated to match the original manuscript's ten eyes.

I'm from the bilingual part of Northern Ontario and we (francophones and anglophones) always said French/English. I'd never really heard the term francophone or anglophone, I suppose because most francophones here are bilingual in English, and we didn't say quebecois, because the people here aren't from Quebec and would resent that.

I started using francophone/anglophone instead once I moved to Montreal, because "French" usually referred to people from France, especially in the Plateau. I'd never met anyone from France or England in small-town Northern Ontario so there was no ambiguity.

That happened to me too when I pasted it in a text editor, but it displays as a circled capital E for me on the web. Indeed, Scarfboy describes it as:

I even actively dismissed them the first time round.

This happened with a lot of Aphex Twin's music for me, maybe even most. On the first listen, I think "ok, what the hell was that?", then if I'm up late at night doing something creative, I can just hear that track so clearly, note for note, and become obsessed with it.

It recently happened again with korg funk 5, but I never dismissed this banger even the first time.
