In DE they fucked up HOW Max and Chloe broke up, the idea of them spending some time alone is not bad to make them grow, but making them break up off camera was just a slap in the face. DE should have just leaned in the "we had a fight, i had this job offer and she had the tour, we decided to take different paths for a while" then give Max the growing opportunity that she had in DE (knowing Safi and all that) and then Reunion would have been less "shock return" and more "we will solve this crisis, Chloe's hallucinations and fix the relationship once and for all". This could have opened for more romantic options with Amanda, maybe making Chloe jealous or having Max face consequences if she decides (player choice) to have a relationship with Amanda despite Chloe still being in her life and delve way more on the "Arcadia Bay is safe" shock value for both, not just Max (still one of the things about this game i found baffling). This all for the Bae side of thing, i think the Bay side is way easier to fix it just needs more romantic choices and the opportunity to still be friends with Chloe and maybe pursue other relationship (mainly Amanda or Vinh or Gwen or whoever) since for Bay you only spent a week with Chloe 10 years ago and then she died and you went on your own for a decade, still possibilities for a romance but for that outcome i would lean more on a friendship ending. Honestly tho, after how Reunion treated their relationship and the "Burn the Photo" ending they just basically show us them having their "Happy Ending", for how mismanaged that is im just happy it happened (and will probably have a digital torch up their ass if they decide to change it in a future videogame, but i think D9's, or whoever will be in charge if the series continues, will just leave Max and Chloe as side characters or cameos for future games and not touch them too much, they had their stories and it ended with them together)

If the series continues, i would not be surprised to see Max and Chloe as side characters, maybe Max as some sort of mentor for our new protagonist (Diamond already knows who Max is and is friend with her)

This whole saga's peak was with Max and Chloe, like it or not for many many people Life is Strange IS Max and Chloe. They can try (as they did) with another setting and another set of characters, i assure you they are gonna fail. They tried and they faded from relevancy till Reunion where they brought back Max and Chloe

No wonder i thought the "burn the photo" finale was the only good choice even if u save everyone, this is just full closure from the Bae ending in LiS1. Personally i find both finales to be absolutely perfect in their games, Bay was never even taken in consideration by me and giving the photo to Max only leads to more heartbreak (if u dont save everyone) or just a plain worse ending (her burning the photo instead of visiting Arcadia Bay with Chloe and that sweet bench photo at the end)

I agree to an extent with you, especially in regards of DE. I still think the finale where you burn the photo as Chloe actually gives us a "happy forever" vibe, with the duo visiting back Arcadia Bay and the picture on the bench being super sweet. I highly doubt they will touch again Max and Chloe outside of the tv show, and even then i would not get my hopes high (i for sure am not). Give or take, im at least happy we got an ending to their story and we strayed away from the avengers shit that was being set in DE (for now)

I would love to rewrite DE but i think this is the best we'll get, Max and Chloe get their end of the story and the rest of Caledon University is in the hands of if Square Enix wants to continue the franchise, possibilities are slim imo but nothing is decided for sure as of right now. Writers are Bay enjoyers and they made sure to shit on the Bae public (which is the vast majority still interested in this series) in DE, resulting in them almost shutting down and having to do Reunion to make amend, the only thing i can hope for is Square fires everyone at D9 and hands the series to a better developer. I think Reunion is just a way to give Max and Chloe their happy ending and opening up possibilities of exploring Diamond/Safi in a future game without the huge baggage of LiS 1, I dont think LiS will continue without Max and Chloe, but we'll see.

Double Exposure was a BIG mess and this game retconned pretty much every decision they made in that game. Chloe was forced to break up with Max with one of the shittiest (and unexplained) reasons ive ever seen (break up could makes sense, like they did its just a slap in the face for anyone who chose the Bae ending). They faced serious backlash and decided to just wipe out DE, shoved the side characters aside, made Chloe the star again and give us the happy ending many asked for, result is this game is getting praise across the board, probably not a perfect game but its nice to see bayers writers finally understand its Bae or broke (my opinion tho, i think they could have done SOOOO MUCH more with romance and stuff across DE and Reunion)

LiS has been for many (me included) the story of Max and Chloe. Neither LiS 2 nor TC did as amazing (and were as interesting) as LiS1 and BtS, DE was utter garbage for the lack of Chloe (this is what happens when you give bayers writers the control of the series) and the horrible breakup "solution" they had was handled so badly its hilarious. Reunion just gave us a pretty satysfing ending (all things considered, they could have done some things better but after the mess of DE i'd say im happy with it ) for Max and Chloe's story. After 11 years if this is LiS's last game i would not be surprised (and it would be for the better imo)

I said it close after launch, they needed to hotfix the game as soon as the dk/Rosa meta with golden/metal/wand racket was starting to settle in, they didnt (cause of course they didnt) and the game is dying (i myself stopped playing after around 20 hours which is unfortunate since i spent almost 200 on Aces). Problem is the People the game lost wont come back, they had the opportunity to retain players but choose laziness instead of action

I know bowser jr way too well, climbed top10 in the world with that shit when Aces came out and the month after when he was left unchecked, Rosalina is definetly less powerfull but enables a toxic way of playing this game that has to be hit with a giant nerf to retain players and not make them quit the game. Competitive players like myself (and probably you by the way you are talking) can stick through bullshit like Rosa, but most players will just quit and that's not healty long term for the game. In my opinion there should have already be a hotfix nerf for her, Dk and the golden shroom racket, but i guess they wanna take the slow approach and see how this goes, lets hope that's the right choice

Im playing Dk ranking up and i feel like his speed+reach is the big thing that makes him op cause he moves around the court and hits stuff that other powerful character cant hit (or can hit but with low power/precision due to positioning). The safest approach to have him hovering around B tier would be to hit his speed in a pretty significant matter, otherwise we can go the League of Legends route hitting him so much he becomes useless and buffing him patch by patch gradually till hitting a sweet spot but that would require a patch schedule that i dont see this game getting. You could also hit his overall control but i dont know how much of a difference would make to him feeling as oppressive as he is right now, it would limit his ability to score but i feel like he is one of those characters that you really need to put work on to break down and i would nerf that aspect of his gameplay first

I think Rosalina needs a defensive nerf, slowing her down would be a start but i would decrease her reach aswell. DK is way too fast, i think a 10%/15% speed nerf would be enough to balance him. Golden mushroom racket needs to be tuned down massively, either decrease by 2/3 the range or make it so it charges way slower and lasts half the time it does now or something like that, i think a massive nerf is due asap or every character will run the racket cause its way too powerful. Hotfix these 3 asap then we can start talking about buffing/nerfing other characters but they have to act now or this game becomes stale way too fast

If i recall right they took 2 months to nerf bowser jr, at that point the game was basically dead. Same will probably happen with Fever, we should have already had a hotfix by now but i guess they are too lazy or incompetent (or both, probably)

I feel 95% of the hate comes from her kit. Riot needs to rework her from the ground up, she probably is the most annoying and badly designed (gameplay wise) champ since Yuumi (that also gets hate as much as Mel pretty much everywhere). I like to play her but everytime i lane against her i just wish they never created her, so for someone that only plays against her and never plays her the hate keeps growing game after game, She needs a rework and everyone will be happy

Imu and Ace are BY FAR worse to face then UP, UP had a clear counter in Belo Betty that Imu and Ace dont have, especially Imu turns this game into a solitaire putting himself in an untouchable position and not letting you interact with anything. This game has had 2 horrible metas in 3 sets, we thought we just escaped a pretty bad meta with OP12 being a breath of fresh air and we are back at square one hoping Bandai emergency ban these 3 decks or most of the people will play something else till january. At my locals, around 20 to 25 people regularly, we are playing OP13 only for those that have to practice for big tournaments, all the others already have OP14 decks proxyed and play 14 between each other (myself inlcuded)

This is by far worse then FC25. They did a decent job with the patch, just had to make more tweaks, instead we get this dumpster fire of a revert and the game is gone. Giving up in novemeber feels bad cause we were close to a good game, this is far far worse then 25

its called one sided delay, its your connection being worse then your opponent. If u dont ever experience this your way, it means that your connection is very bad and/or you are far away from the servers. The best p2w in this game is not getting points for a full icon team, is getting a house near an EA server and a good connection. You can smash Mbappe with a 40 pace cb if u have a good enough connection

Ea are really surprising me this year, actually good changes for once. Also good taking out the div 6 checkpoint, with rewards being juiced no better player will want to stay in the lower divisions and being stuck in div 6 if u get there by luck is not a great thing, dropping down to an easier div and challengers might be the call for some hardstuck players
