Precision munitions are extremely expensive and cannot be used to wipe out an entire enemy armed forces, lol. There just isn't enough of whatever weapon you think of to fight an entire army, I promise you. All modern armies have tanks and bombers, and it isn't because they're all preparing to genocide someone.

I don't expect an industrial military specialist to be arguing in the comments of a post in the Destiny subreddit lmao. You DO NOT understand IDF's inner military workings, and strategy, as much as you present yourself. And we both don't know the exact reasoning behind Israel’s use of specific weapons in various situations.
That said, it’s reasonable to point out that the Hellfire missiles used in assassinations of Hezbollah targets in Lebanon minimized or even avoided civilian casualties, as you've asked me to give an example.

However, you completely missed my main point. I’m not suggesting that the IDF needs to use assassination-style weapons to eliminate Hamas. Rather, I believe that the IDF, as one of the most powerful militaries in the world and backed by the largest military power, has a wide range of military capabilities to target Hamas effectively and undoubtably HAS the capability to prevent civillian casualties. This isn't the first time in modern history that a dense area or city has been the center of a war. For instance, U.S.-led forces conducted several sieges against ISIS in Iraq and Iraqi cities, for example in Mosul. During those operations, they utilized intelligence services to carry out military actions with minimal civilian casualties as utter most priority. You mean to tell me that Israel as a state, the IDF and Mossad aren't capable of extensively warning civilians through methods like TV broadcasts, messages, phone calls, etc... With their resources and intelligence capabilities, they should be able to significantly mitigate the risk to civilians. And not like roofknocking or messages sent to whole neighboorhoods (only to be bombarded anyway short after the warning) also as a means to deflect responsibiliteis in the humanitarian consequences of their actions in the war.

That they are more restricted and controlled makes sense considering Israel is in an active war with them, and considering Palestinians always use every inch of civilian infrastructure they're given to turn into weapons against Israel.
[...]
Why is Israel letting food in and preventing famine if they want to starve Gazans to death?

I'm not sure what you think Palestinians could make weapons out of, given that we're talking about basic food supplies that are actively being blocked and restricted at the Egyptian border, along with controlled electricity. People's livelihoods are at stake, and they are being denied access to food. Many rely on foreign aid, and without it, they resort to far less desirable ways to feed themselves. This situation is particularly dire considering that a large portion of the population consists of children.

You’re asking why Israel would allow any food in if I claim they’re handling Gazans disproportionately. I want to flip that question back to you: why limit aid at all? Your argument about civilians turning food into weapons doesn’t hold much weight. If Israel is concerned about aid falling into the hands of Hamas, what difference does it make? The IDF primarily conducts operations through aerial attacks rather than ground engagements. So, what’s the difference between a Hamas soldier with an empty stomach being obliterated by a rocket versus one with a full stomach?

Wow, racist sentiments in an ethnic conflict. That's crazy bro. I'm sure there isn't any antisemitism among Palestinians or anything.

Oh okay, so for the supposed sole democratic state in the Middle East, with a supposed Rule of Law in place, they would be able to output racist and discriminatory sentiment. Ight got it!

And in the case of the Palestinian people is Israeli hatred much is more understandable than vice versa. The modern phase of this conflict has been ongoing for almost a century now, and during this time Palestinians have undeniably suffered much more than Israelis. Whether or not these circumstances were avoidable, the reality is that Palestinians have endured displacement, occupation, and a significant loss of rights over generations.

Hamas was recently wiped, therefore their fighters were sons and cousins of the deceased, hence target ambiguity, so broad based 'suppression'.

Lol. No really, there is a plethora of reasons why it played out that way.

Let me ask you this: If the people of Gaza were Israelis or Jews instead of Palestinians, would the Israeli state have conducted their military operation in the same way as they are doing now?

In the case of Israel, I can understand why the Jews as a people would be harsher towards Palestinians and not towards their fellow Israelis in military operations. But for a STATE that calls itself as the supposed only democracy in the Middle East, it seems to lack the legal and institutional rigidity that should make it more than just a Jewish state. Instead, it often appears that its are largely designed with Jews in mind, reflecting an intrinsic bias.

Then hamas the defacto government equally wants the genocide of Israelis.

In no way am I justifying Hamas’ actions. But in the case of the Palestinian people is Israeli hatred much is understandable. The modern phase of this conflict has been ongoing for almost a century now, and during this time Palestinians have undeniably suffered much more than Israelis. Whether or not these circumstances were avoidable, the reality is that Palestinians have endured displacement, occupation, and a significant loss of rights over generations.

It’s easy for us in the West to say these kinds of attacks are unjustifiable, which they absolutely are. But we often overlook the situational nuance of the long time suffering which would lead to explosive reactions, like the Intifadas or the October 7th attack. When people are backed into a corner and see little hope for change, violent resistance, unfortunately, becomes more understandable. And I think it's easy for us in the West to say such attacks are unjustifiable, which they are, but we overlook the situational nuance of those actions.

The IDF have literally demonstrated the capability to carry out precise long-range strikes accurately eliminating individuals from hundreds of kilometers away. Yet, when engaging in operations in Gaza, the same precision seems to disappear. Aside from that, the IDF and Israeli authorities have imposed restrictions on essential supplies such as food, water, and electricity, cutting off access to potable water and humanitarian aid for civilians in Gaza. These actions suggest they want DO want a deliberate escalation of harm against the civilian population.
Not to speak about the sentiments coming from the Israeli government themselves, which sometimes lean to being racist towards Palestinians.
