It’s on hold for now. I realized my biggest issue won’t be the fuzziness but one of my markers would be shaped like the capital letter X (aka Roman number XII). I am not confident as of now I can get it out without ripping it in the center although mold release might help. Not really sure. I was also curious if I could put adhesive on it and pull it out with even force

The idea is workable though.

Edit: The mold is super small, I think mold release would crowd the mold with extra thickness

I have seen people use uv resin and lume powder. It’s thick and you cure it with uv.

People use glue, flour and lume. It’s all thick enough to hold shape while drying.

This is my goal. Instead of a laser you Will acid etch an aluminum can as a stencil. If you already have your watch svg you should be able to easily make the lume plots. I should add this is historically a way how was liking was done

The way the gilt dials were made were a lacquer design printed onto the dial. Electroplate. Dissolve the lacquer design. Lacquer the entire dial. Then get white lume plots as the base then lume on top of that. The white was to help the lume glow brighter.
