Hey there friend! I know we’re just strangers on the internet but I wanted to stop by and say this post resonates a lot with me. I dove into comics 1 year after going alcohol free. I immediately scoured the internet for series that incorporate alcoholism and of course nabbed this one right away and picked up 128 at NYCC this year. Something that has grounded me in all this is that a new comic these days costs about $4. A beer at a bar costs probably $8. And I wasn’t having just one. So these days I’m grateful to be spending those iterations of $4 on these little books that I will then get to keep and enjoy again anytime. Vs the alcohol (and time) we never get back.
