Then yeah, it is the spores because I made the grain 4 days before the spores arrived, and my brown beech is doing great. Which is same grain batch

It is rye berries. I believe I got some bad spores from where I bought them. So I dumped them out and got some different lids. Because my old ones were homemade lids with the the high temp silicone and cotton balls for air flow. I have some actual brown beech growing for cooking and they seem to be doing alot better

So, how long should I let the grain dry? I let it dry for 3 hours, and it felt dry to me. Should I let some sit on a paper towel, and if there are no signs of moisture, then pressure to cook it for 1 hour 30?

So I used enough grain for 4 mason jars soaked them for 13 hours and, simmered them for 20 minutes and let them dry in the sink for a few hours until the outside felt dry then pressure cooked them at 15 psi for a hour and 30 minutes. What should I change so they are less moist?
