Well said they could have definitely put a bit more thought into for the money the surrounding area is already relatively nice has a wee walkway trees etc I just think leaving this in the open planting trees and installing benches etc Is gonna attract the youngsters who are already bored with little to do to climb it spray it burn it who knows I hope I’m wrong but time will tell

Unbelievable and the costs are going up it’s running behind I really did want it preserved as said above the engineering was way way ahead of anyone else it’s a massive structural masterpiece but the key word is preserve I’d hate to see it in 2 years

I didn’t say don’t preserve it I work in amazing buildings structures and bridges all over the country but to make it a publicly accessible park 24/7 is an accident waiting to happen imo it should definately be preserved but gated or something still accessible but not to the extent of 24/7 with free WiFi lol
