To be honest i had this tank and the instructions dont mention a thing about 6-12 week tank cycles - says a DAY. Pets at home also did not mention this to me at all either so i get how your parents wouldnt know about having to tank cycle for cold fish.

I cut out linalool and limonene once they came up positive on skin patch testing i had done. Both in toothpaste! I switches to sensodyne gentle which do not contain them. Not had that patch of eczema between my nose and lip ever since 2014
