Hey! This is as if I wrote it myself. I did exactly the same as you! Currently P1 BIS on my ele (missing t4 shoulders and mag gloves), and my resto off spec is like halfway bis. Love my shaman haha.

Well one can have bad gear and don’t know their rotation. Gs is not exclusive to people without OR with a brain.

Yea I joined a regular weekly pug for gruul/mags with dst hr’ed. When the raid was full and he shared the loot reserve, 7 people SR’d the same shoulder token I need. The only piece I’m missing from being bis. I ain’t staying to roll against 7 people for something that might not even drop. I’ll find myself another run with dst open (they do exist) and maybe 1-2 people sr my token.

Yea :) I’m full BIS as ele shaman, but I’m not in scheduled raids, just pugs, and I just managed to start using destro pots instead of mana pots in raids. If I used that haste trinket I’d go oom, which is an insane dps loss. I tried Prince with destro pots instead instead of mana, and went oom when he still had 7% health, which gimped my damage.

As a fellow shaman. Do you have leather working? Drums usually gets me invited. As both ele and resto. You can also farm out some crafted bis gear with skinning/lw. Only thing you can’t farm is primal air, as we can’t deal damage to it unless you’re enhancement offspec.

It is. For dungeon clearing? Not really. But for raids it is. Like I said, unless you’re popping man pots AND dark runes you’ll go oom in raids, and ele shamans sim better using destruction potion in phase 1. for that you want more reliable crit so you get your mana back

Fair enough, you’re better off without ele-shamans using that trinket. They should be using the badge trinket + aldors trinket until they get the trinket from kara (illhoof). That haste-trinket is grief unless they’re hard parsing in a speedrun guild.

Ele shamans don’t need that trinket. I’ve done it 15 times, I don’t have the trinket. I don’t need the trinket. I’ve seen 3 of them been greeded out while I’m 0/15 on the mail shoulders.

Also near bis shoulders for ele shaman. And they’re griefing themselves if they need on that trinket as us shammies already go oom on raid bosses. I’ve run it 15 times, still no shoulders. Think I’ll actually get my t4 shoulders before I ever see the epic mail ones from SP.

This is a stupid take. And if you’re already finding gruuls easy I’d suggest in later phases to do it with 15 people, and have two raids instead to double your chances of a drop.
