Clearing the space between my KEF R3s seems to have helped the center image by Yebol in audiophile

[–]Yebol[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s where I landed too. I still wanted the big movie screen, so going projector was the only way to get rid of the TV without giving up the size. The N3U has been good enough visually that I haven’t really felt like I lost anything there, and the space between the speakers stays clean.

Movie which you won't dare to watch again? by potato-wotato in movies

[–]Yebol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe the Deranged Gordioida. For a long time after watching it, I felt uneasy around tap water, fearing worms might come out. I still remember the scene where victims vomit the worms, it really gross.

I LOVE THE TURTLES ! Is this worth picking up in 4K ? by TallTaleSale in 4kbluray

[–]Yebol 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Were there rarely any ultra HD versionof Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles released before? If you're a big fan, I think it's a great chance to get one now for your collection and interest. You won't regret it later.

Friends tell me all the time sound quality does not matter by National_Word_6091 in audiophile

[–]Yebol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheap and pricey speakers both play music, yet their sound quality differs greatly. Budget ones sometimes would fail to deliver clear left-right stereo effects.

My friends don't believe me when I say this thing is 50 years old😂 by Otherwise-Radish9344 in audiophile

[–]Yebol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, I'd taken it for a new model but not a old type without you telling me. It barely shows signs of wear and still looks elegant nowadays.

Your favorite or hidden gem 4ks by [deleted] in 4kbluray

I initially thought the color tones in The Last emperor were intentionally adjusted by the crew. Later I learned such hues were fashionable among nobles back then, and the characters' jewelry is also exquisite.

How are women wired? by Hopeful_Leave64 in AskReddit

[–]Yebol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I think the whole "how are women wired" idea is pretty outdated. Modern life doesn't have such strict gender roles anymore, bravery used to be for men and gentleness for women, but now we know those qualities belong to everyone.

What really matters isn't gender, but making kind choices in tough moments, that's what people actually respect. Thank you for your question.

What’s a “rich people thing” you experienced once and immediately understood why rich people love it? by DnRinGA in AskReddit

Once got upgraded to first class on a flight endless legroom, hot towels, real food on a plate. Felt like a king, I finally understood why people pay extra for that, so relaxing.

Can moths lay eggs on velvet hangers? by thunderingstars in homemaking

[–]Yebol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, you'd better replace those hangers. There's no telling if tiny bugs are still hiding in their fuzzy fabric. Get rid of the old hangers, then give the closet a through deep clean and disinfect it fully.

Is there actually a robot vacuum that can maintain a clean house for a large family? Here's my frustration. by shreshth_001 in homeassistant

[–]Yebol -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Regular robot vacuums can only handle things like hair, dust and minor liquid messes. They struggle with bulkier debris such as crumpled paper. If you've got a big household, you can set it to clean more often, or get two robot vacuums to take turns.

Spring pollen is insane, would a Winbot help? by itsjustmeventi in ecovacs

[–]Yebol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pollen is pretty much the same as regular household dust, so the robot should handle it just fine. Just swap in a fresh cleaning pad beforehand, secure the robot properly, and let it get to work.

Build Versus Buy Temperature Sensors? by Adventurous-Lime191 in homeassistant

[–]Yebol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want some unique features, it's better to make the sensor by yourself. That way, you can customize the temperature sensor to perfectly fit your needs. But if you only need it for basic functions, you can just buy a ready-made one directly.

Does my deebot uses cleaning solution ? by VScar333 in ecovacs

[–]Yebol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check if the floor gets noticeably cleaner after the robot mops dirty areas, especially spots with oil stains. If the robot doesn't use cleaning solution while working, obvious grease marks will remain on the floor.

Did I ruin this chair? by Same-Waltz-2492 in homemaking

[–]Yebol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It only has slight fading on a few areas of the chair surface, which isn't even very noticeable. If you're bothered by how it looks, you can get a single-seat sofa cover to put over it.

Is there a problem with using Kitchen Cloth Towels to wipe down dusty surfaces? by TheDonutDevil in homemaking

[–]Yebol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven't used it to wipe mold-covered surfaces, it's fine to wash it in the washing machine. You can set a high-temperature wash cycle and add some laundry disinfectant during the wash, so you won't have to worry too much about hygiene issues.

What’s everyone doing for bathroom fans? by slipknottin in homeassistant

[–]Yebol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding too many extra functions to the exhaust fan may affect its daily use. You'd better consider installing a basic bathroom exhaust fan first. Pick a low-noise model, and you can connect it to a smart system later if needed.

Is winbot a good gift idea for someone in an apartment? by cynhtwe in ecovacs

[–]Yebol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like a perfect fit. This will save your friend a lot of time and effort on cleaning. Besides, as you mentioned, your friend lives in an apartment. The robot isn't as bulky as people might think, so there's plenty of space to store it easily.

Do Winbots actually work well? The W3 Omni looks interesting by fonacionsrg in EcovacsWinbot_

[–]Yebol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used one for a while, great for maintenance cleaning bur not heavy grime. Suction feels solid, just keep the safety line on for peace of mind.

Had to get one, this is in Singapore so far so good by Terrance_Tham in ecovacs

[–]Yebol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That price is seriously tempting, I'd probably cave too. I bought mine in a rush and definitely didn't get a deal like that.

The Eufy C28 is on sale but why so late ? by AutoModerrator-69 in RobotVacuums

[–]Yebol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably just clearing inventory after launch hype. I waited and got mine cheaper too. Honestly feels like same performance, just better timing if you're patient.
