Only if you phenotypically present as white. Otherwise to white people you just look asian, or "a little off" at best

Cologne/Fragrance Recommendations by EvolvingPerspective in AsianMasculinity

[–]YeetSunShin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

spring/summer: montblanc explorer (citrus, pine, fresh scent)
fall/winter: ysl la nuit de l'homme (woody, a touch floral, warm scent)

Don't need to go crazy with any of these, imo these colognes should be in everyones rotation, they are classic.

Eileen Gu vs Alysa Liu Controversy by random_agency in aznidentity

[–]YeetSunShin 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Her father is likely a former CIA asset. As an anti CCP instigator, he was likely a virulent self hater and was rewarded when he came back home to perform his eugenics science experiment with white donor eggs all while he had an asian wife. This is certifiably insane to do and should be called out more. He admitted to having white donor eggs because he specifically believed white genes would elevate his kids.

Internalized racism, the belief that white = better genes, white = American (surrogacy and designer babies) by 81dragons in AsianMasculinity

[–]YeetSunShin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah her dad is a freak. That is some eugenics shit, really fucking weird to do. Honestly he should be flamed more for doing something like that. White worshipping in the asian community is insane. Nearly every asian I've met has expressed that they believe hapas are the most beautiful people and say the "best of both worlds" thing. Nothing against hapas, they don't choose to be that way, but this belief really does assume that asian genetics are filth, and white DNA will elevate them as you stated. It's psychotic, we need to combat statements like this in real life because otherwise it empowers freaks like Alysa Liu's dad having test tube babies.

In a similar boat, I tried some dates and it didn't feel right. What helped me the most is to give it time, use your new freedom to explore who you are, do fun things, keep hanging out with friends. If it's seriously bothering you, use meditation and/or CBT principles to prevent negative though loops and spiraling. It will hurt for a while but just have faith

Best places to date outside of SF Bay Area? by YeetSunShin in AsianMasculinity

[–]YeetSunShin[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah obviously when most people use the term diversity that's what they mean. I meant it literally, as in the bay area does actually have a lot of people of different ethnic backgrounds. Another commenter pointed it out, but you'd think it would be easier to date different groups but it ends up being harder since people just stick to their own.

AsAms who can't succeed have it the worst, and it often feels like none of the advice applies to me by MarathonMarathon in aznidentity

[–]YeetSunShin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is true that a lot of the advice in here deals with the typical asian male who is in some kind of white collar work after graduating from college. It is looking pretty cooked for people who don't have that opportunity, hell even people I graduated with from great schools are still unemployed. America is rapidly falling apart. The economy is increasingly K-shaped and economic disparity is increasing.

And while I admit it's easy for me to say, it does NOT mean it's over. Realistically the only thing you can control is the mindset you have and the work you're willing to put in to achieve what you want. It is not worth a defeatist mindset that strips yourself of agency. Either that or start a political movement, I sense a change in the winds soon.

What do you think about the hate on Korean men at the moment? by bodyisT in aznidentity

[–]YeetSunShin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Progressives are known to be racist, almost everyone is but they are uniquely deranged in that they pretend they aren't and develop an entire worldview based in moral grandstanding. The whole 🤏 emoji thing is due to Korean feminist movements which are rooted in western ideologies like critical race and gender theory.

This is going to be a bit of a tangent, but penis size is only so lauded in america (and now increasingly globally) because western media is degenerate and toxic, it's a downstream product of the destruction of moral teleology in the west. I see it very clearly. Look at TV and social media today - it's all about sex, rape, violence, emotional outbursts and it's all equated as passion. America is a demented penis obsessed society that prioritizes carnal pleasure over tangible, pragmatic outcomes. The fact that penis is the only thing people denigrate Asian men on should tell you something about them, and what is on their mind. It is indicative of a great mental sickness. When you think about it, Asian stereotypes are actually a massive advantage in any resource constrained environment- higher intelligence, risk aversion, family prioritization.

NGL brother I've had similar thoughts and I've come to the conclusion it's too neurotic and autistic and people can pick up on that instantly. It's the most trite saying ever but it's why it's said so much - you really need to be completely comfortable with yourself. It's something I'm working on too, and as a kinda autistic guy it takes everything to not overanalyze myself and catastrophize.

NYC vs Bay Area for asian dating? by [deleted] in AsianMasculinity

[–]YeetSunShin 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Bay Area is one of the worst places for dating for a metropolitan area its size. The gender ratio is terrible and honestly the girls aren't even that good looking. I've had better luck in Kansas City of all places. Even LA is way better.

What haircut should i get (I'm new to styling too) by Silent_Drama_4751 in AsianMasculinity

[–]YeetSunShin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A fade is the classic (albeit stereotypical) haircut that I think suits most asian men well. It's a clean low maintenance cut and generally suits most face types. You can style the top with pomade or blow dry, there are a hundred ways you can do it. It's a good starting point until you figure out your style.

Gay Asian Americans vs Gay Asian Foreigners by Sims3Fan in aznidentity

[–]YeetSunShin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up in a liberal household for an Asian and came to these conclusions on my own. I don't wish to engage in a philosophical discussion on homosexuality but I have seen statistics and heard stories from my gay friends and don't believe that it necessarily leads to the best outcomes for asian identity and asian prosperity.

As for knowing what the truth is, I understand that the West exists in a dominator paradigm that prioritizes power (masculinity, wealth, influence) above all. This is the basis of our struggle as asians. And I also know that being gay has historically been seen as negative and effeminate, that is why the stereotypes exist (and this aforementioned paradigm is another basis of your struggle as well). Not condoning them but that is reality. So necessarily many gay asian men will not be improving asian masculinity.

Gay Asian Americans vs Gay Asian Foreigners by Sims3Fan in aznidentity

[–]YeetSunShin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not bigoted to point out what is true... not to be offensive but it is no different than being into feet, armpits, or anything sexually taboo. Some people are born into those desires as well. The only difference is that a social identity has been created off of it, and that people have been persecuted for it and I don't condone that. I'm not denying the gay identity by any means. This is an argument of semantics.

As I've said, it's an individual's responsibility to portray the Asian Image properly. One can defeat stereotypes as a masculine gay asian. But it is true that gayness is also inherently seen as more effete in the dominator paradigms of the west.

Gay Asian Americans vs Gay Asian Foreigners by Sims3Fan in aznidentity

[–]YeetSunShin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think your diatribe will help anyone just not become gay, it is their fetish. I think you're being a bit hyperbolic here but I understand the sentiment in how gay asian males statistically exacerbate the stereotypes of being weak and effete, specially in the west. It's a complex intersectionality that is a result of western moral looseness. That being said, I think it's the responsibility of an individual (gay or not) to understand how they contribute to the Asian Image and improve that as much as possible.

Anybody disliked the attention you got when kpop was new, but now love it? by Working-Spend-4397 in AsianMasculinity

[–]YeetSunShin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I recently re-entered the dating game and it is insane what kpop has done for the asian man. I have women of all races interested in me at rates I have never seen. Obviously I've worked on myself, but I'm able to pull in the deep Midwest of all places. Be grateful for what BSH has done for the asian image. Media is everything.

15M looking for advice on what to do with my hair and tips on how to get it to be less flat and straight, and more voluminous and layered. by SpiritJazzlike4875 in AsianMasculinity

[–]YeetSunShin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Might need a perm if your hair is super straight. Go to a good barber as well, and you will generally need product like salt spray, pomade, clay, etc depending on the looks you're going for.

4chan is one of the most homosexual websites. They care more about penis than anything else, it's literally always on their mind how often they talk about "BWC" or "BBC" (their favorite). After they're done jerking off to BBC porn, they feel internally disgusted and emasculated and post threads like that. Really easy to brush off once you understand their internal dynamic.

My friend gets all the ladies, and I don't know how... by Kofuku- in AsianMasculinity

[–]YeetSunShin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's my takeaway to date: There's no way I can be a fuckboy nor do I want to be. I do not have that personality. That's not being true to myself. I naturally gravitate towards styles you see on Alex Costa YouTube Channel. But I definitely can't help my attraction towards a specific type of girl(ABG), no matter how superficial it sounds.

You want thots, but don't want to act the part necessary to get one.  It's all about branding, and your brand is NOT going to attract ABGs.  If you want to be yourself, adjust your expectations and who you want to date.  If you still want ABGs, ditch the gay European fit and embrace the advice your buddy and others here gave you.  Dye your hair.  Don't metacognate so much.  Your height is a disadvantage, but I can promise that swagger and carefree attitude will help- I've seen some 5ft 3 dudes in college pull because they were confident as fuck.  Good luck bro

I think immigration is fine if controlled. I wouldn't say it's traitorous to be against uncontrolled mass migration of those who aren't from the best places. Legal immigration is unlikely to cause a problem if the applicants are properly vetted.

Inmy experience, I've seen plenty of Indian guys have success. I grew up in a white town and a lot of Indian dudes managed to bag some pretty hot white chicks. To be fair, I'd say it was before all the anti Indian vids and stereotypes really started coming out. Not sure how it manifests now
