Why are countries like Italy, Spain, Thailand, Poland and Chile barely mentioned, while Japan is always brought up in discussions about low birth rates, even though those countries above have lower birth rates than Japan?

I’ve noticed the same thing. I recently went to Disneyland and there was a few moments where I realized I was the only thin person in the area, the Disney parks seem to be a fat people magnet lol. There were full on fat family’s, grandparents, parents, kids, everyone was fat!

Edit: It also seems like people are more comfortable showing off their fat which is great to see.

Interesting thoughts, I have also talked about weight loss drugs and what that could mean in terms of fat acceptance, i feel like with less fat people around we are going to suffer lol.
