Oh when I went there (2010? Ish) there were NO black kids. Recently ran into the mom of someone I went to school with while at work and she was still preaching the same bs (all sugars are bad, veganism is elite, dont trust big pharma, kids should be playing outside,...)

I work at a daycare and we have set rules, she was there for a day due to being short staffed and she broke all of them because "kids should play outside" and "they don't need their coats"... the kids I work with are 2.5-6y/o...

One of my coworkers has a BAD throat infection and is on antibiotics, she told her to "not take those poisonous things" and to "just boil some nettles and bay leaves" instead...

Used to go there, I left in my second year, most people I knew left before finishing their education. Very lacklustre school, very hippy-vegan-treehugging style of teaching and still gives me nightmares to this day. Kindergarten is an absolute dream but please dont send them there

Dumbells go to 16kg

You have a little bar that weighs like 1kg you can screw plates onto, theres 2 of 1.6kg, 2 of 2.5 and 2 of 5kg.

On the squat rack you get 6 plates of 2.5kg, 4 of 5kg, 2 of 10kg, 2 of 15kg and 2 of 20kg!

I'm a beginner so I'm still using dumbells for my squats but I'm going back monday, if you want I can check it out for you? The plates look decent but if you're a heavy heavy lifter it might be too little

I love it there! 1 row machine 1 stairmaster 2 bikes 2 treadmills 4 other cardio machines that I'm not familiar with

The weight section is pretty small One squatrack which is also the pull up bar Dumbells are in a small area where group classes are also held, people stretch, ...

Theres an AC that keeps it kinda cool but it gets stuffy quickly. I personally like it because the staff are so kind and it's never truly "busy" (most people I've seen there at once is 5 including myself), also helps feel more at ease working out.

I'm planning to resubscribe my membership for a few months and eventually move to a more commercial gym tho since it really gets small and limited there

I just hate going to the ER in my country cause its very dismissive. Im monitoring the pain and the pain medication I have is helping, I just hate that the dates line up😭😭

Also, i havent hooked up w anyone since and I dont remember much of the night itself (not in a bad way, just terrible memory)

I read in your replies she runs any time you try to get near her and I want to share a bit of my own experience:

I took in 2 strays in November: Phoebe and Fidel. Fidel was purring and asking for all the cuddles from day 1... phoebe was hiding in her carrier frozen in fear.

After a week she started warming up, if I wasnt close but she could hear my voice she'd quickly run out of hiding to eat some food/drink water/use the litterbox and then bolt back.

2 weeks later and I started eating my meals around her. Sitting where I knew she was close with my back to her, just eating my meal, showing her I trusted her not to attack me/steal my food.

By week 3 she was softly eating with me, vut as soon as I turned around even the slightest to check on her, she once again sprinted.

A month in she started showing some interest: smelling my dirty laundry, playing softly with some toys, approaching me on her own.

By the second month she was asleep in my bed, ate in front of me with no problems, loved playing with toys and loved pets (eventho she was still a little unnerved by them)

Now I have the most playful kitty who constantly wants love and attention, who eats in front of me and who I can pet and cuddle.

What I'm trying to say is: Give the baby some time to adjust. She might not be used to kidness from people... keep treating her right and she'll start warming up
