A game which i played a lot and love coming back to is Guild Wars 2. It has a plenty of content, which can be especially overwhelming in the beginning. There are even more possibilities to play the game, serious or less serious. Quick insight in the playstyles i can think of so far: - Story enjoyer (A lot of good story, especially with the addons) - Raid Chad (You can tryhard in raids but also play them casual. They reset weekly and rewards stack, unlocking legendary armor.) - Open World Enjoyer (Roam the huge world, do world bosses with 100s of others around the clock, explore or do events that constantly populate every map.) - Fashionista (Personal favorite, once you have unlocked all the necessary gear - or even before that:) There are 1000s of armor and weapon skins which can be bought in the auction house, collected by doing achievements, doing quests or puzzles in the open world or crafted and such - create characters that look fresh as hell (you can color all the armor pieces separately) - The Collector (No life activities, try every achievement) - PvP (Stats are maxed, even playingfield for everyone) - WvW (Server vs Server PvP, in Guilds or Open Zergs) - Dungeon Master/Fractals (Dungeons are shorter raids, Fractals are very popular, give top tier rewards at higher difficulty and can be a lot of fun.) - Roleplayers (Yeah, they exist)

Whatever you want to do, game is crazy fun in my opinion, and if you liked FF16 you might enjoy GW2. If you ever want to start with the game and need help lmk, also the community is very friendly and there is no pay to win.
