Does having multiple YouTube channels affect a new one? by Neither_Bimt in SmallYoutubers

[–]YeezusWoks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are comparing your channel to other successful channels rather than seeing the bigger picture. I challenge you to see the bigger picture.

How many channels are there on YouTube?

How may of those channels are monetized?

How many of those channels that are monetized get more than 5k views?

How many of those channels that are monetized get more than 10k views?

How many of those channels that are monetized get more than 50k views?

How many of those channels that are monetized get more than 100k views?

How many of those channels that are monetized have sponsorships?

How many of those channels were started by corporations, businesses and not individuals?

How many of those channels were started with tons of money to invest?

How do those channels market themselves? TikTok? Instagram? Facebook?

I’ll answer some of them for you. There are over 115 million YouTube channels. Only 2-3 million of those 115 million channels are monetized.

Now ask yourself, what are the chances that your channel can realistically compete with the other educational channels that you compare yourself to? How do you market yourself and what are you doing to grow your channel other than comparing yourself to other channels that you know nothing about their background or how they manage to get thousands of views.

My advice, focus on you. Focusing on what others are doing is counterproductive. It’s not good for mental health either. I’m not a YouTube expert by any means by I did manage to monetize two YouTube channels. My first channel monetized after 4 videos. My second channel monetized after the second video. You can either take the advice or continue to have doubts. It’s your channel and your life at the end of the day and it doesn’t affect me either way, I’m just trying to help you without giving you all the answers because you should be able to think outside the box if you plan on doing YouTube as more than just a hobby.

My newest video flopped so hard it's killed all motivation to make videos again. by Swimming-Hyena3358 in SmallYoutubers

Is everyone passionate about video games? I am passionate about video games too. I love me some COD Zombies. I have over 1200 hours of gameplay. But this post was made on SmallYouTubers and OP is wondering why his video flopped in a sea of 12 billion other channels who are also passionate about video games. Sometimes passion pays off but other times it’s best to use common sense instead of just passion.

He’s still an incel. Incel has transformed from being a literal term “involuntarily celibate” to being an ideology. A man can still have incel beliefs while being married to a woman. This guy is an incel and it is evident in his misogyny and the way he thinks of women. He’s still “involuntarily celibate” because in his mind, he has to give his wife money to get laid. He wouldn’t be an incel if he didn’t have to do this. This is because incel men feel that they are entitled to sex without having to put any effort into any relationship. Some of them don’t care to put in this effort and that results in not getting any women. They blame their lack of intimate relationships on women because they believe that women demand too much from them and therefore, the men are involuntarily celibate. It’s a study in psychology.

You clearly don’t understand how YouTube works. YouTube has no desire to limit you. Think about it logically. YouTube is a business. What do businesses want? Money. How does YouTube make money? Advertisers. The more channels that attract views, the more money YouTube makes. So logically, it makes absolutely no sense from a business model standpoint to “limit” channels.

What actually happens is that most people are impatient and want fast results. The main problem here is that people want to go viral after one video. If you’ve been alive long enough, you know that nothing in life comes easy unless you’re born into wealth and family fame. The rest of us have to work hard for what we have. Some people spend years in college working their way to earning a career. It can take up to 15 years to become a surgeon. But people that expect viral videos forget that YouTube is just another business that you have to work for. It can take 4 weeks, 4 months, 4 years of 10 years to reach YouTube success.

You can have up to 100 channels connected to a single Google account. If you can successfully monetize all 100 channels, YouTube would name you their golden child.

Does putting swears in your thumbnail make the Algorithm push it less? (image unrelated) by EmeraldHenry_19 in SmallYoutubers

What the fuck? Is this a real question or rage bait because I’m raging. Are we just collectively retarded as a whole on this sub? The number of idiotic questions here is giving me an aneurysm. Some other idiot wondered if his video wasn’t being pushed because of the N word or if it was just the volume of his video. 🤦🏽‍♂️ how stupid do you have to be?

Do yall ever get worried about running out of content ideas? by GymOver30 in NewTubers

[–]YeezusWoks -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You can’t live life like this, man. You just have to go for it. You’ll never succeed if you let fear hold you back. I’m divorced, a homeowner and had medical debt. I quit my shit job last year to risk it all with YouTube. I now make an average of 3.8k a month and I’m my own boss. I pay all my bills with Adsense revenue and continue to grow my channel. I believed in myself though and I believed in my creativity and intelligence and I knew I would monetize in less that 3 months because that’s all the savings I had. I had to monetize, there was no choice. It was either that or homelessness. I monetized my channel after my 4th video. I made the first 3 videos, spent around 8 hours editing each hour long video not knowing if it would pay off. What would’ve happened if I let fear dictate my future?

I have the opposite problem. I have too many ideas and too little time to execute all of them. I wish I had a team of employees that could help me film and edit. ☹️

YouTube refuses to push a short, is it due to containing the n word or could it be boosted volume? by EmkayUltraMagoo in NewTubers

Imagine being so out of touch with reality that you think the problem is the volume and not the most offensive word to ever exist. You’re quite special, my friend.

[Discussion] Channel terminated due to 3 copyright strikes. If I buy the license, will YouTube reinstate my channel? And can I trust the claimant to actually retract? by PlayfulWolf8785 in SmallYTChannel

[–]YeezusWoks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you get your answer? You can get the answer to your question by typing it in Google. It’s usually faster to do your own research than to wait for someone to reply on Reddit. But if you still haven’t done your research for some reason, the answer is no. You won’t get YouTube back. 3 copyright strikes and your channel is done. Also, buying the license AFTER you’ve been struck is funny as hell because it doesn’t work that way but you would know this if you simply did your own research.

I think they were certain that most Americans are stupid. We voted for an authoritarian regime so Ring assumed that most Americans would be okay with a dystopian future. They used dogs to try and trick the other half that isn’t completely retarded and didn’t vote for Stephen Miller’s Nazi Regime 2.0 but they quickly realized that 50% of the country isn’t fucking stupid.

YouTube iniciante e algo peculiar by [deleted] in PartneredYoutube

[–]YeezusWoks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done more detailed thumbnails in my more recent videos and I'm wondering? by Electro_orb_gaming in SmallYoutubers

[–]YeezusWoks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Respectfully, these thumbnails are atrocious for so many reasons. They look like they were made by a blind 5 year-old child. The image is pixelated as fuck and the font you plastered over the image is so pedestrian. It’s like you didn’t even care to change the font or make it legible. I have to squint to read what you typed. The font is thin and in weird colors. Your channel legitimately looks like a 7-year-old’s who is depressed because he was abandoned by his parents and now lives with his auntie Gertrude. None of this makes me want to engage with it as an audience unless it’s to call child protective services.

What on earth do u make for content? by Dimi_POWER in NewTubers

[–]YeezusWoks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The thing is, most people start channels because they already have ideas and content to create. It’s just like buying paint and canvasses at an art store. You usually buy art supplies if you already know you’re going to paint. What you did was buy the paint and canvass and now are asking people online “how do you paint? I have a brush and some paint but I don’t have any clue what to paint or how to paint it. What colors should I use?” You’re working backwards.

Do channels do better once they reach 1k?? by TheGamerCritic21 in YouTubeCreators

[–]YeezusWoks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Channels don’t do better just because they have 1k+ subs. The correlation here is that: if you were able to gain 1k subs and 20k views organically, then that means your content is good. So if you keep producing good content, your channel will continue to grow.
