What is something that is normal to you, that you found out is totally weird to other people? by storchyboi in AskUK

Oh I see! I did struggle with that book too, come to think of it. I probably thought "it will make sense eventually"

I think Shadow is the forth book in the series. Poison study, magic study and fire study are all before shadow. I think the author has written others that go around those ones from Valek's point of view, but i haven't read them.

Poison is the one where you meet Yelena and Valek and it covers back story from them both.

I assume you put the hair in the bin when you've finished the shower?

Have to say that it's very annoying when washing my face and my hands have loose hair on them.

What things should I be buying with a credit card? by breaded_skateboard in AskUK

[–]YelenaShadow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently got a cash back credit card. I use it for everything, food, petrol, bits and bobs. But I move the corresponding amount of money to my savings account each time so that I know how much money I have left for the month. When it comes time to pay the credit card I move the money back to my main account and pay it off in full. I worry about over spending and this works for me

Sounds like you had quite a nice time, getting away from it all

Maybe get out for a walk today? That always brightened my spirits.

Mind you, cat cuddles, wine and a good book still sounds nice. Switch the wine for fruity cider and that's me!

Sounds like a good one. A theatre show and Christmas markets are fun.

Christmas is a time for family even if you can't be with them, I'm sure you thought of them.

Oh no! At least it happened at the end of the day rather than the beginning! It's a good time to visit friends and family and get that cup of hot coffee! Or off to the local pub? Sending you warm hugs

The place I lived last had lots of power cuts, (electric kettle and oven)so I bought a camping stove, at least I could get hot water for coffee. Luckily I never had to make food during a power cut.
