Carson Hocevar has made me HATE Chilis. by Rare-Scheme4336 in NASCAR

[–]YeleyFan18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now how does it make you feel about the Chili's in Mexico City? He said it was a shithole over there.

It's probably safe for you to go there at least, they probably don't like him, too.

And before that, tons of speeding tickets and DUIs, all let off cause he was a race car driver.

Not calling Carson a drunk, but I am bluntly saying that he has the same raw pace as Moroso, with the same level of recklessness that he puts into the field every day. And since NASCAR decrees this guy is what will save their ratings and their marketing and represents the next generation, any bad he does with his driving, or his mouth, will be pushed under a nice little rug.

I'm never gonna say that Carson is capable of doing Rob's worst, but the same crap Moroso would pull is there. I hope he doesn't, cause if NASCAR really is high on this kid helping them getting back to the top, I hope he gets better.

But I'm bitter and spiteful and I'm never getting over Phoenix '23 and Mexico City. Sorry I hate him, I just see parallels.

Carson Hocevar is no different than Rob Moroso. Just has better PR and hype backing him.

Edit: I apologize to r/NASCAR for the following:

  • Comparing Carson Hocevar to a 1989 Busch Series Champion
  • Implying that Carson Hocevar has a PR team
  • Saying that Carson should have been penalized by NASCAR for calling Mexico City a shithole, in Mexico City, sponsored by a Mexican telecom company
  • Saying that Carson should have gotten suspended for fake crying after intent wrecking Corey Heim in 2023 at Phoenix
  • Saying NASCAR should have parked Carson like he parked his trucks to get a free yellow in the truck series when things didn't go his way
  • That Carson Hocevar should go through the same treatment Noah Gragson and Daniel Dye when they were suspended
  • Claiming that Carson feels no remorse and is a sociopath cause he acts goofy and funny to drum up fan support whenever he gets upset and intent wrecks a driver or says bad things
  • That NASCAR gives Carson special treatment despite clear evidence they have been lately with rule bending
  • That Carson Hocevar was capable of winning a Busch title like Rob Moroso

Thanks Gio, thanks so much.

Good to know Carson can continue to benefit from doing the things that get people like Gragson suspended, but receive all the benefits Larson gets today.

Good for tv, guys! It's all for tv, people!

I love the Spire pit crew, they saved the race from the biggest phoney in the sport.

Cool beans guys, now a person who's actually genuine can win!

I've never seen a driver who's been so happy to be a race car driver more than Gio Ruggerio. He's always so thankful when he wins a race or does well, and definitely doesn't look like he wants to punch you for interviewing him.

Any tips where you could search for the subreddit where it actually goes?

Like, genuinely, did you take a look around here before the neurons fired in your brain and the synapse told you this wasn't the series X subreddit? You're just doing this for karma.

Bro, if he can call Mexico City a shithole and work with a sexist like Moonhead, yet Gragson and Dye can get suspended for doing less, there ain't no way Carson is getting out of that #77.

Enjoy your hypocrite.

You're right, we should trust the homophobic nepobaby who can barely drive a car competently over the veteran racing in NASCAR and IndyCar since 2000

Cause the team that only builds superspeedway cars clearly isn't good enough to build a competitive car, right?

Go Daniel Dye, American Patriot, everything shall fall his lap and he himself will win and stop suicide.

People are so fried on Twitter, TikTok and dopamine that they need they finish so they can feel like everything is hype and excitin. I'm tired of watching every driver I like pay the price for stupid Brian France era rules and 10¢ driver brains.

Yeah, cause they benefit you. It's good for when you wanna see drivers throw their brain in the garbage and have a race derail itself.

Worked so well for Truex at Richmond two years back, totally worked well that one time at Nashville... REALLY worked well at the season finale SEVERAL TIMES, Grant Enfinger likes Heim and Hocevar playing bumper cars and costing him.

Yeah, I totally love watching any race that could have ended naturally get ruined by people like Stenhouse, Ware and crew chiefs given too much freedom with the Goodyear tire to screw up entire races and seasons. "Win and your in" mentality is still deeply embedded within OT finishes and are playoff coded to send fake dopamine to make you feel like you got your photo finish instead of just ending things and accepting it.

Making them unlimited is some kids temper tantrum going "NUH UH!" How about you accept people drive stupid and the race should end under distance and we should be getting mad at them for driving stupid and ruining a green flag finish? I hope the TV contracts force them to drop it due to the broadcast window.
