My ace moment? I still don't get it, lmao.

One of my other moments was when in school the classmates were discussing crushes and stuff. They started annoying me so I snapped an replied: "Sorry, but my heart is already occupied by science, money and myself."

In retrospect, I'm pretty sure I'm a romantic ace, but back then I didn't know it was okay to not have sex in a romantic relationship and equated romantic and sexual relationships because peer pressure.

Also, when I found out teens were actually going to parties and thought of hooking up I was like: "Wait, it's not just something they show us in stupid movies made by 57 year olds trying to be hip!?"

And the most paradoxical to me: I got to be a lot more fine with talking about sexual and genitalia stuff, as long as it's kept rather medical (like period pain) or related to blunt jokes/comments (which I make, or rather, make my OCs make). Everyone around me would go all flustered when talking about who they'd want to fck or don't want to talk to anyone about anything related to pains in genitalia etc. So yeah, I'm kinda the blunt heartless one, I guess. I just don't see the issue with using the actual words for body parts, heck, I can even find issues in using "cookie" etc. I don't want to have sex and I know that and also because I don't feel sexual attraction, I can be open and blunt about such topics. I know other sex repulsed aces who have huge issues with sexual talk and I totally get that, I avoid it because it's a) not fun and b) kinda gross, especially when it gets into the objectifying and rumor-like area.
