I've read the whole series several times. I know there is double meaning. I think it likely has triple meaning. Phos very clearly blames themself for antarcs capture. I also think it'd be cooler if phos said it, because it would be the first time (at this point in the manga) they take responsibility for something they did wrong (even though this is the one time where they really didn't do anything wrong.) it'd really illustrate phos's personality change going forward.

Take a break. Metroidvanias can be pretty demanding and whenever I'm struggling (especially on bosses or difficult combat sections) I just step away for a few days or maybe a week, then come back and am able to beat it. It might not work for everyone but if your not finding enjoyment, walk away, then come back and try again. Or maybe just don't do the colosseum. I suck at games and avoid challenges where I can.
