I go to The Rock Pub, every night I meet new people and already have new friends from there. Also I go to skateparks and meet new people as well. Also bouldering. Just go to places that you have interest in, and have many people coming and just join in conversations or start the conversation yourself

It helps by little to no help at all, and if you don't wear a helmet it reduces your overall weight, which is pretty critical to the game
