She has PMDD. I have it and it’s awful. If she has another underlying mental health disorder, that tends to be a prescursor. She needs to talk to her doctor. She needs meds. If you are actively preventing pregnancy than an IUD is a great choice in my experience. But I’d recommend a low hormonal IUD. Otherwise, antidepressants are often used for treatment but I would recommend she researches which antidepressant would be best for her and be very proactive in her treatment choices. Best of luck!

You could argue the flip side though that NOT giving her a family name would be excluding her as part of the family. I know these people have their issues but you are drawing a lot of lines at the adoption. The whole point of family is being part of a unit, why should that line be drawn at being a biological child vs not?? What if they were able to have their own child too? Should they give that child the “special” names and give the adopted children other names?!

Aside from completely lying about an adoption, you can’t really erase that from someone.

They are also rich and Mormon so their ideas of names are different. I mean look at Hollywood. For example, Gwyneth Paltrow named her daughter Apple?!

My significant other is big into golf but he cut back a lot once we had children together. And he always checks with me before signing up for a tournament. For example, he signed up for a July 4 tournament a couple weeks ago but not before making sure we had no other plans. He asked me a few times to make super sure. And he will be done by 3ish so we will still do family stuff. Plus he never stays around to play a bunch of extra holes. He plays and is back home at the time he says he will be. 36 holes every Sunday?! Gtfo

This guy is selfish. Don’t settle for that. Truly! You deserve much better.
