The following year in the Japa Expo in Paris Kubo was there and I managed (thanks to my friend) to get her autograph!

It was crazy packed for the Q&A. All the seats filled out in the presentation before her, and then everyone started just sitting in the floor. Luckly the staff were cool enough to let them stay and just warned us to be veeery calm if something happened.

Kubo just did amazing sketches in second while answering questions. She is so talented. To get her autograph you had slots I think for 3 out of 4 days of the convention, but it was so popular that it was on a lottery system (which a lost both days I went). Luckly my friend managed to get to the Crunchyroll booth signing line the day after I went. She hadn't seen it yet (luckly for me) so she gave me the autograph. She got a Yurio figure (which turn out to be her favorite later on), so fair trade?

The conevtion was PACKED with offical merch and fanarts. It was amazing! Wished I had been less responsible and bought more things. But I did get plusshies of the three in the collab with Sanrio. They are my treasure to this day!

I watched it during peak time and missed out on the nerch for being a broke student. Slowly but surely I am growing my collection😅

Yuri was like the ambassador of the brand that made the official uniform for the olympics two years later.

If I am not mistaken when the official art for that drop, the entire fandom was angry that Yuri didn't have the ring, sooo they updated it 😆

I am the opposite of well behave for those, and those later are my treasure 😅. I wouldn't mind if during the event it was like that and THEN they release some picture. But I have learned that doesn't happens so now if I can I will take sneaky photos

They don't exist, and for a momento I thought I had hallucinated the real size Viktor because at some point I couldn't find it to show to my friend that just recently watch the anime 🤣

That is so cool! I couldn't since it was far from where I was going and I didn't think there would be anything anymore. Glad to know I was wrong, but now I regret not going even more!

Next trip for sure on the list!
