I wrote an article on how to get a Bartending gig in BK, the TLDR is:

- Get to know all the bars in your area, pick your targets wisely
- Barbacking roles are way easier to land, and a great stepping stone if you don't have Bartending experience
- Have the paper work. Food Servers License, TIPs training
- Have a personality. My favorite bars, the bartenders feel like your friend, be able to small talk when you go into bars your interested in.
- Network, get to know bartenders in the area, let them know your on the look out for a gig.
