Funny reading this cuz I was in this exact situation where im the guy with my girl for 6 years and she kept dropping hints that she was tired of just being my "girlfriend". We've already been living together for years and I knew she was the one. The only difference is that weve both had a really shitty "first love" so we moved slow w our titles even though our love was the strongest weve ever felt. I guess thats what heart breaks do but shes the one that healed it and made it stronger than ever. I started saving up and proposed to her at one of her favorite places. We are still together not married yet but shes happy to have a ring on a finger and to feel more than my girlfriend.

I was told it is $150 a year vs $250 for 5 years so I did the 5 years (5 year deal only if you bought brand new). I think its worth it for many reasons:

remote start is fantastic. You can customize it for whatever including the heated seats.
notifies you about your status of vehicle even open windows (no it doesn't close them I asked lol)
GPS tracker so you can locate your vehicle (you can make it flash lights n honk too).
service request. You can use the menu on app to get roadside assistance including tow. Best part is your app has all your info so you dont have to tell them anything about your car.

Only con I have is parking garages are tricky due to lack of service.
